Swing sequence

Tap a checkpoint to see what to look for. These are reference descriptions, not an analysis of your video.

Play smarter. Swing cleaner.

One place for on-course strategy, swing diagnostics, short game practice and video analysis.

Start here

Pick where your game is now. These are the few things worth your time first.

Your shot

Play it as

Rules of thumb, not a launch monitor. Your carry numbers are assumed to be for about 70°F at sea level.

My distances

Enter how far you carry each club on a normal, solid strike, in yards. Club picks above update as you type, and your numbers are saved on this device.

Swing numbers

Targets are estimated from each club’s loft and common coaching ranges, not tour data.

Swing score: how close each number is to its target zone

Learn: why degrees matter

Pick your level, then pick a number to see what it means and how to set it up.

See what a degree costs. If your start line is off by 1.0° at 150 yards, the ball ends about 8 feet offline.

Five setup checks that set every number

  1. Aim the face first. Pick a spot a few feet ahead on your target line, point the leading edge at it, then build your stance around it.
  2. Set your grip. The V shapes between thumb and finger on both hands point between your chin and trail shoulder. This sets where the face starts.
  3. Hinge from the hips. Tilt forward until your arms hang under your shoulders, roughly 30° to 40° for irons, with soft knees. This sets your plane.
  4. Place the ball. Driver off the lead heel, wedges near the center, and the other clubs in between. This sets attack angle.
  5. Square your body. Lay a club across your toes pointing parallel to the target line. Check hips and shoulders match. This sets path.

    Wedge clock matrix

Think of your lead arm as a clock face. Swing back to 7:30, 9:00 or 10:30 and you get three repeatable distances from each wedge. The estimates start from your full-swing carry on the On-course strategy tab. Replace them with your own measured carries, because every player is different.

    Upload swing video

Down-the-line or face-on, .mp4 or .mov. AURA maps your swing to nine checkpoints.

Mark all nine P positions yourself

A stand-alone check that needs no auto-detection and no AI. Scrub or step the video above (the buttons are right under it) to each position, tap "Set", and get feedback on your timing and sequence with the reason behind each point. Start with P1, P4 and P7. The rest add detail.

    Guided measuring: find your numbers

Pick the camera view you filmed. You get the camera setup, then the exact measurements that view can give you, in order. Each button sets up the overlay below for you.

Measure degrees on the video (overlay)

Pause on a position, tap "Start measuring", then tap points on the video. The degrees are worked out for you and typed into the KPI card. A phone video is flat, so these are estimates (often within 3 to 5 degrees when the camera is level and square to you).

Compare your KPIs to the optimal P positions

Measure each number from your video (pause on the position, then use the Show frame button), type it in, and see how it compares with the typical range. Everything you enter is sent to the AI coach along with your frames, so its feedback is tied to your numbers.

    AI degrees coach

Uses the numbers in the KPI card above (not the video) to suggest your optimal degrees for each position, how to get there, how to compensate if your body limits you, and updated P-position targets. Enter at least one number first. Uses 1 degree plan from your monthly allowance (text only, so it costs less than a frame analysis).

    Biomechanics: understand each position

Nine checkpoints from setup to finish: what each looks like, why it helps, and how to adapt it to your body.

Do you have a physical limitation? Select any that apply and each position will show how to adapt.

    Setup position guide

Good swings start from a setup you can repeat. Pick a club to see where the ball, feet, spine and weight should be, and how to get there.

    Quick mobility self-check

    • Hips: stand tall with a club across your belt line and turn your hips each way without moving your feet. If one side is clearly tighter or uncomfortable, select Tight hips.
    • Upper back and shoulders: sit on a chair with your arms crossed and turn your chest each way. If one side is limited or pinches, select Limited shoulder or upper-back turn.
    • Balance: stand on one foot for 20 seconds, then the other. If you wobble a lot or can’t hold it, select Balance or knee issues.

These checks are for golf awareness, not a diagnosis. Stop if anything hurts, and talk to a coach or physiotherapist before changing how you swing.

    What you can expect

    • Safety content stays free. The mobility adaptations are never locked.
    • Limits are shown before you act. You see what is left before you run the AI.
    • Nothing you measured is locked. If you downgrade or cancel, your logs, trends and measurements stay yours.
    • Only completed analyses count. Failed ones are free.
    • Your data stays yours. Export it any time, even on Free or after you cancel.
    • No tricks. A trial needs no card, cancelling is as easy as signing up, and pausing between seasons is planned.
    • Honest labels. Values you type or tap by hand are marked as such. Targets are estimates, not tour data.
    • No selling your data. Research use would be a separate opt-in you can withdraw.

    Your data

In this preview, your swing log, distances, equipment and settings are saved only on this device. Videos stay in your browser. If you use the AI coach, nine still frames from your video and your numbers are sent to Claude, only when you click, to write feedback. When cloud storage launches, videos will be deleted after a stated retention period, and you will be able to delete them at any time.

    AI coach

A biomechanics coach that studies nine frames from your swing video, one for every position from P0 to P8. It gives you different ways to fix each position, so a player or a coach can choose what suits the body and the goal. It also uses your club, equipment, limitations and logged numbers.
